Software and Driver Links
CNET is an amalgamation of the old Freeware and Shareware sites. Loads of FREE downloads here. It's updated daily, and you can sort the downloads into date order, so you can find the newest ones without having to read through the whole lot again!
WINDRIVERS is the site to go to if you need the drivers for a piece of hardware for your computer, e.g. soundcards, video cards, CD drives, modems etc.
TUCOWS is another one like WinDrivers. Pretty much has the same downloads, but if you can't find what you want on one, you might find it on the other.
Virtual Places Chat Downloads
VPGOODIES is a good site for VP bits, but I found that the instructions were not all that clear. The basic downloads to get you started can be found here on this site on the Chat Page, but if you want to try something not so basic, VpGoodies is where I got them.
THE BLACK HAND is another similar site to VpGoodies, apparently run by a group of chatters by that name. All sorts of stuff there, including chat information for budding VP programmers.
DAJEIL is a chat mate! You'll find her regularly on VP chat. She has her own VP Gesture website and I would recommend anyone to go there and have a look.

Where I got all the midi files I put on my site? Here's a link to the site. And many thanks to the guy(s)/gal(s) who put them there. Some of the midi's have the complete song, some only have the background to the song i.e. you could use them to practice your karaoke !!!!!!!!
Last But Not Least
Ever wanted to learn a bit about HOW the internet Actually Works? I found this site which is the course notes for a college course. I found it quite interesting and informative but you do need a certain amount of knowledge about computers to begin with. Have a look. If it's over your head, I'm sorry! But if not you could learn a lot.
